Women of The Word (WOW)

Our mission is to:

Through teaching and equipping women to draw closer to God, find their biblical purpose, create a sisterhood of caring, sharing and service in Christ’s name, we intend to not only develop but also personify the masterpiece of a woman as God planned.

Our vision is to:

It is our earnest desire to meet all women where they are and edify in each of them a closer more personal relationship with God. We recognize and embrace that our reach will span women of all walks of life, different lifestyles and with each facing a myriad of issues.

As a leader of the WOW Ministry you will:

Encourage all women to be a part of the ministry.
Work with all women to make them feel a part of the ministry.
Work to ensure that the members meet the ministry’s mission.
Work to effectively communicate vertically and horizontally about ministry issues.
Work to be transparent, open, and honest when communicating with members about ministry, church, or personal issues for development and growth.
Be open to suggestions for ministry improvement.
Work to ensure fairness and inclusion.
Collaborate with other ministries for church growth and interdependence.
Meet requests from ministry arm overseer, church ministers, and/or Pastor Hoskin.
