Magnification Arm Ministries
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry exists to magnify the glory of God through powerful and inspirational praise and worship. Comprised of the Choir and Praise Team, this ministry creates a worship experience that actively engages the congregation, encourages spiritual growth, and draws others into a deeper relationship with God. Our vision is to lead worship in a way that uplifts hearts, unites the church in praise, and helps attract and retain new members through the atmosphere we help cultivate. Guided by Psalm 95:1—“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation”—the Music Ministry is dedicated to lifting up the name of the Lord with excellence, passion, and joy.
Creative Arts Ministry
The Creative Arts Ministry exemplifies the power of worship through dramatic, nonverbal expressions of praise. Including the Women of Righteous Dance and Mime teams, this ministry brings to life the emotional depth of worship—such as pain, sorrow, joy, and gratitude—through movement and physical expression. Our vision is to reflect the multi-dimensional nature of praising God, complementing the voice-based Music Ministry with visual and expressive storytelling that moves the heart and spirit. Guided by Psalm 149:3—“Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp”—the Creative Arts Ministry offers a powerful, wordless testimony of God’s presence and power.
Audio/Video Ministry
The Audio/Video Ministry plays a vital role in enhancing the worship experience at THE WORD by delivering clear, high-quality sound and impactful visual presentations. Through the seamless integration of voice, music, text, images, and video, this ministry helps create an atmosphere that keeps the congregation engaged and supports deeper understanding and retention of the message. Our vision is to support the delivery of God’s Word with excellence, using technology as a tool to elevate every aspect of the worship experience. Guided by Hebrews 4:12—“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit…”—the Audio/Video Ministry ensures that every message is heard clearly and seen effectively, allowing the Word to reach hearts both inside the sanctuary and beyond.
Sunday/Wednesday Service
The Sunday/Wednesday Service Ministry is responsible for delivering a well-coordinated worship experience that brings together song, prayer, and the spoken Word to exalt God and inspire the congregation. Each service is thoughtfully designed to reflect a unified theme that deepens spiritual understanding while preparing members to carry out THE WORD’s mission of bringing souls to Christ. Our vision is to create services that are both spirit-led and time-conscious, allowing space for God to move while maintaining order and flow. Guided by 1 Corinthians 14:40—“But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way”—this ministry ensures that every element of worship works together to glorify God and edify His people.
Ministry Arm
First Impressions Ministry
The First Impressions Ministry, also known as the Ushers Ministry, plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and orderly worship environment at WOGCF. Ushers are responsible for preparing the sanctuary before each service, including placing reserved seating cards, organizing chairs, and distributing tithing and welcome cards. During service, they maintain reverence by managing movement in and out of the sanctuary during key moments such as prayer, scripture reading, and the welcome. Ushers also assist parishioners in finding seating, providing items like tissues or offering envelopes as needed, and ensuring anyone needing special assistance is cared for. After service, they collect communion cups, offering envelopes, and any other materials left behind, helping to maintain the cleanliness and order of the sanctuary. This ministry is often the first interaction visitors have with the church, making their role essential to the overall worship experience.
