Fulfilled in a Righteous Marriage (FIRM)
“…For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” (Matthew 19:5-6)
The leaders of the marriage ministry will:
- Evaluate and plan for yearly educational bible studies and social events for individuals who are married, engaged, and/or seeking a long-term relationship, uphold the mission and vision of the church as directed by the Pastor and executive leadership.
- Offer and engage in prayer and encouragement to members of the ministry.
- Encourage all married and engaged members of the church to participate in the ministry.
- Bring awareness to the ministry by communicating ministry events in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Continually assess the needs of the congregation to provide appropriate ministry events.
- Provide updates to the ministry arm overseer on ministry status, issues, and concerns.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures set forth by church leadership on items such as, but not limited to, facility requests, budgetary items, and inter-ministry collaboration.
