Year of Expansion FAQs
Thank you so much for your excitement, enthusiasm and overall support as we enter into this next phase of KINGDOM BUILDING – EXPANSION! During this exciting new season here at The Word, we want to make sure you all stay informed.
We have created a special email address, expansion@wogcf.org for you to send questions, feedback, or concerns. Please don’t hesitate to reach out any step along the way!
Key Dates
A. From July 6th through November 16th. This, of course, is contingent upon weather, materials and other factors that we cannot control.
Q. When will we return to the WOGCF Campus?
A. Our anticipated date is November 16, 2025.
Services/Bible Study
Q. Will we have Mid-Week Refuel (Bible Study)?
A. Yes. Bible Study will be virtual.
Q. Will we still have two services while at the Exhibit Center?
A. No. We will only have one service.
Q. What time will we have service on Sundays at the Exhibit Center?
A. Our one service will be at 10:00am.
Temporary Location
Q. Where will we have church while the building is under construction?
A. We will worship at the CFISD Exhibit Center, 11206 Telge Rd., Cypress, TX 77429.
Q. How will parking be handled at the Exhibit Center?
A. There is plenty of parking at the Exhibit Center.
Q. Will the Exhibit Center be able to hold all of our members for one service?
A. Yes, the Exhibit Center holds 1,400.

Q. Will we have Children’s Church while we are off the WOGCF Campus?
A. Yes. We will still have Children’s Church at the temporary location.
Building Process
Q. When will the construction be complete?
A. We anticipate construction being completed around November 16th.
Q. What is included in the expansion project?
A. We will be expanding the sanctuary, adding new/larger classrooms, adding a bigger kitchen, adding restrooms to the side of the building where our children worship, and adding more parking spaces.
Ministry Information
Q. How will we handle ministry meetings?
A. All approved ministry meetings will be virtual or off-site.
Q. How will we handle special events like the Church anniversary, Pastor’s anniversary, Back to Church Sunday, and community events?
A. Any changes to church-wide events will be communicated via our website, Realm, or social media. We are committed to continuing our mission and vision even while away from the WOGCF campus.

Volunteering
Q. How can I volunteer to help during the expansion?
A. We invite you to become part of our volunteer team to help us set up before service or breakdown after service.
You don’t need any experience or special equipment or training. Just a willing heart. Men and women are welcome and needed. Sign up online or just show up and we’ll get you assigned. Your commitment to even just one Sunday a month can truly help make set-up/tear down each Sunday a success!
– Set Up Crew – Sundays at 7:00 a.m.
