Session 1: Understanding Federal Anti-Discrimination Protections

This session kicks off our Voter Education Series, where members will learn about important topics ahead of this year’s upcoming elections. As part of our commitment to civic stewardship, the Civic Engagement Ministry invites all members to this honest, nonpartisan look at how far our nation has come on civil rights protections — and where those protections stand today. We’ll provide fact-based, nonpartisan information to help you stay informed on critical issues.

We won’t tell you how to vote. We will help you understand what’s actually changed, so you can vote as an informed and faithful steward of the rights God has entrusted to you.

This is education, not persuasion. Whatever your views, an informed congregation is an empowered congregation.
