Pastor Hoskin

Pastor Erick W. Hoskin Sr., is the Pastor and Founder of the Word of God Christian Fellowship Church in Cypress Texas. He is the son of Dr. Willie and Lillie Hoskin. Pastor E as he is affectionately known, is married to the lovely Stacia Sanders, a registered nurse in Houston Texas. They have been blessed with four beautiful children. Pastor E hails from Natchez, MS, is a graduate of Natchez Adams High school and Alcorn State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Pastor E. has long possessed an interest in empowering and inspiring people. His gift of exhortation was visible at an early age as he assisted in starting The Brothers in Christ youth ministry at King Solomon Baptist Church in Natchez Mississippi.

Although not fully aware of God’s plan on his life, early on Pastor E gave inspirational speeches at local Mississippi prisons, unselfishly shared his gift with middle school and high school students of the Natchez Adams School district as well as with the local AJFC facilities in Mississippi. This passion did not stop when he arrived in Texas. He immediately went to work preaching and speaking at various churches, schools and conferences in Houston Texas.

Pastor E accepted his call to preach the Gospel under the guidance of Pastor John B. Hollmon. After being licensed to preach by Pastor Hollmon, Pastor E went on to give leadership to various ministries at the Fellowship of Redeeming Truth Church (FORT). He has given leadership to the youth ministry, marriage ministry, and also the Men’s ministry. Before birthing The WORD, Pastor E served as Assistant Pastor at the FORT. Not only is Pastor E the founder of the Real Men Standing Up (RMSU) ministry, but he also hosts empowerment conferences throughout the states of Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana. God has truly touched the RMSU ministry and as a result the lives of numerous men, women and children have been ministered to by sharing the love of Jesus Christ. As a minister for Christ, Pastor E has spoken at various churches, schools and conferences.

Pastor E says in addition to being one of God’s chosen, he most enjoys being a dad. He is very active with his family and especially their four children and their many activities. Erick is currently pursuing his Master’s of Divinity at Grace School of Theology.
